Dancin’ in the rain. Again.
Yeah so as it turns out, we didn’t end up moving in the rain. It looked like we were going to, but the rain stopped pretty much when we started moving. Isn’t that nice? I thought so.
As a result, moving was otherwise the standard fare — and anybody who has ever moved house before won’t need me to go into any details. Moving is balls, end of story.
P.S. I’ve been in London for 24 hours now, and it hasn’t rained once. CLIMATE CHANGE!
Dancin’ in the rain
Brisbane is probably regarded as one of the nicest cities in the world weather-wise, by those who actually know that it exists and its location. Which means that only a few people in the world know what Brisbane’s weather is like, because most foreigners only seem to know where Sydney and maybe Melbourne are. So if you’re reading this and haven’t the slightest idea where Brisbane is and what it’s weather is like, then you can be sure that most of the time, it’s sunny and warm. Except for today and tomorrow which — incidentally — are rainy. Like, proper rainy.
So how much excitement can be had moving furniture in the rain? Tune in tomorrow to find out.
Or not, because apart from quite a bit of swearing and wiping the rain from our respective brows, it probably won’t be that interesting. But if it is, then you’ll look stupid. Really stupid.
Hi!
This sure is a blog. But in a more personal way. That is, if there’s something that I feel like bleating on about that I can’t squeeze into 140 characters or less, then I’ll probably post it here. You know, because that’s what a blog is for.
Also, I’m moving from Brisbane, Australia to somewhere in the UK this coming Sunday. Hooray! That’ll be fun. It may also hold a clue or three as to why I’m going to (attempt to) write something reasonably frequently here.
